She was predeceased by : her parents, John Bernier and Yvonne Bernier (Bergeron); her father-in-law Ward Lane; her niece Kristen Bathke; her nephew Korey Bernier; and her brother-in-law John Lane.

She is survived by : her husband Jim; her children, Ben (Cory) and Sarah; her grandchildren, Lilly and Max; her siblings, Bob Bernier (Bev), Pam Bathke (Gary) and Dave Bernier (Kim); her sister-in-law Kathy Lane; her nieces, Colette Bauer, Brittany Zenner, Kelsey Stromquist and Katie Oliver; and her nephew Kevin Bathke.

In lieu of flowers, donations in Jackie's memory may be directed to the Community Foundation of Chippewa County, for a fund to be established in her memory.
