With profound sadness, we say goodbye to William Hable of Bloomer, Wisconsin, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. William left this world on May 28, 2025 at the age of 87, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. He was predeceased by: his parents, William Sr. and Marcella; and his siblings, Thomas, Monica, Jean and Anthony.
He is survived by: his wife Judy; his children, Amy Almendinger (Jim), Wendy Maves (Steven), Rebecca Hable, Laurie Joslin (Dan) and Jim Hable (Eileen); his grandchildren, Jasmine Scott (Leah), Adalyn Strand (Trevor), Amanda Maves (Noah Crosbie) and Mary Hable; his siblings, Patricia Zastrow, P. Michael Hable and David Hable; and his pet Sadie.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, June 3rd 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Thompson Funeral Home & Chippewa Valley Cremation Services (1806 17th Ave, Bloomer, WI 54724). A prayer will be held on Tuesday, June 3rd 2025 from 7:00 PM to 7:30 PM at the same location. A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Wednesday, June 4th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the St. Paul's Catholic Church (1222 Main St, Bloomer, WI 54724). A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, June 4th 2025 from 12:10 PM to 12:30 PM at the St. Pauls South Catholic Cemetery (2118 Main St, Bloomer, WI 54724).
Memorials are preferred to St. Paul's Catholic School in Bloomer or to the family, where funds raised will be used to purchase a park bench on Madeline Island in Bill's honor.
