He was predeceased by: his parents, Armond Sorenson and Elisabeth Sorenson (Teubert); his brothers-in-law, William "Buzz" Loiselle and Morrie Petska; his nephews, Scott Sorenson, Eric Fernstaedt and Pieter Graaskamp; and his niece Cindy Nazer.
He is survived by: his wife Karen Marie Krueger; his children, Carrie Ruf (Jerry) and Bill Sorenson (Heather); his grandchildren, Micah Ruf (Whitney), Elisabeth Prill (Tanner), Marissa Craver (Jonathan), Caleb Ruf (Kali Risler), Ashton Erickson (Chantel Hardwick) and Jude Sorenson (Jake Williams); his great grandchildren, Theodore, Luella Ruf and Greyson Craver; his siblings, Dave Sorenson (Dianna) and Lynda Fernstaedt; his sisters-in-law, Nancy Loiselle, Judy Schmidt (Loren) and Gloria Petska; his half-sisters, Pat Kuhar (Joe) of Janesville, Bunny DeGarmo of Janesville and Mary Ann Sperry of Janesville; and his friends, Cork and Ginger. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
