With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Maxine Elaine Hassman of Blue River, Wisconsin, who passed away on April 15, 2024 at the age of 89. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by : her parents, Archie Novak and Lillian Novak (Studnicka) of Highland, WI.; her husband William Hassman; her brother David; her brother-in-law John Draves; and her stepchildren, William Hassman Jr. and Lois Uhlenhopp (Donald).

She is survived by : her siblings, Shirley Draves, Lois Novak of Highland, Darvin Novak (Judy) of Cobb and Janis Frazier (Jim) of Blue River; and her stepdaughters, Mavis Hassman of Ankeny, IA and Bonnie Swieter (Clarence) of Dumont, IA. She is also survived by 6 step-grandchildren; 8 step great grandchildren; and 3 step great, great grandchildren; along with 14 nieces and nephews.

Visitation was held on Friday, April 19th 2024 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Soman-Larson Funeral Home (203 W Grant St, Montfort, WI 53569). A funeral service was held on Friday, April 19th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
