He was predeceased by: his parents, Duane "Bud" Bloom and Patricia "Pat" Bloom (Lange); his grandson Jordan Beeseker; his sisters, Bonnie Bloom and Robin Bloom; and his father-in-law Virgil Rupp.

He is survived by: his wife Ginger Rupp; his children, Joey Bloom, Jamie Cliff, Jen Schluenz (Andrew), James Bloom, Chris Loew (Marissa) and Kendra Stevenson; his siblings, Sherry Chandler, Kathy Esser and Bob Bloom (Jane); and his mother-in-law Jane Probst. He is also survived by fourteen grandchildren.
