It is with sadness that the passing of Herbert Tauchen of Bonduel, Wisconsin is shared. Herbert, born on June 22, 1930, passed away on September 23, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Vincent Tauchen and Anna Tauchen; his brothers, Myron and Gerald; his children, Alan and Teresa Gutenberger; his grandson Dustin White; and his son-in-law Jerry White.
He is survived by: his wife Marlys Cobian; his children, Gary of Bonduel, Debra Manhart (Bob) of Florida, Marie Blechman (Eric) of Florida, Dennis (Kim) of Indiana, Stephen (Jill) of Bonduel, Gregory of Bonduel, Catherine Uedelhofen (Klaus) of De Pere and Jeffrey (Michelle) of Illinois; his son-in-law Brian Gutenberger; and his sisters, Arlene and Sharon. He is also survived by 22 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 1st 2026 from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church (302 S Main St, Shawano, WI 54166). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, October 1st 2026 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to Sacred Heart Catholic School and Masses in Herbert's memory.
