He is survived by: his father Herbert Nischke; his wife Dixie Lee Grace Finger; his children, Wayne Nischke (Connie) and Julie Nischke; his grandchildren, Ashley Mikle (Ricky), Kayla Coehoorn (David), Mac Malchow (Amanda), Karl Malchow (Leah), Daniel Malchow-Davis (David) and Nicole Malchow (Patrick); his brother Bill Nischke; and his sister-in-law Gloria Passehl. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
