She was predeceased by : her parents, Ervin D. Smith and Delyla J. Smith; and her son Ryan. She is survived by : her husband Ken Brost, Jr. of McFarland; her daughters, Amy Brost (Harvey Wang) of Brooklyn and Rachael Powell (Matthew) of Albuquerque; her grandchildren, Lela Wang, Leo Wang and Samuel Powell; her brother Dana Smith; her niece Megan Smith of Morganton; her nephew Kris Smith; and her great-niece Harper Smith of Plymouth, Indiana..

Visitation was held on Thursday, April 25th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:30 AM at the McFarland Lutheran Church (5529 Marsh Rd, McFarland, WI 53558). A memorial service was held on Thursday, April 25th 2024 at 11:30 AM at the same location.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to Agrace Foundation or McFarland Lutheran Church.
