He was predeceased by: his parents, William Ritter and Nettie Ritter (Udelhoven); his wife Patricia Ritter; his sister Ina Koppen; and his son-in-law John Kipper.
He is survived by: his children, Rick Ritter (Barb) of Boscobel, Terry Ritter (Rebecca) of Boscobel, Jo Dell Smith (Mike) of Portage, Annette Kellogg of Boscobel, Rose Kipper (Clarence) of Lancaster, Juanita Kipper (Duane) of Lancaster and Cindy Kipper of Lancaster. He is also survived by 16 grandchildren, many great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren, along with other relatives, and friends.
