He was loved and cherished by many people including : his parents, Paul Terrell and Doris Terrell; his wife Sharon Terrell of Boscobel; his children, Christina Nichols of Kendall, Jennifer Terrell of Hurley and James Terrell Jr. of Platteville; and his grandchildren, Melinda Terrell, Natalie Busker, Autumn Nichols, Isaac Nichols and Ember Nichols.

In lieu of flowers, memorials to the family are preferred.
