He was predeceased by: his wife Lucille Nayes; his parents, William Drilling and Rosetta Drilling; and his sisters, Bernice and Betty Ann.
He is survived by: his children, Thomas Drilling (Lori), John Drilling (Kristi), Shelley Finnessy and Jodie Drilling-Tegels; his grandchildren, Andrew (Emily), Erin, Matthew, Mitchell (Mckenzie), Brogan, Jordan Drilling, Jesse Ramseier, Emily Finnessy, Ethan, Gavin and Axel Tegels; and his great grandchildren, Olive, Ira, Otto, Ryker, Paisley, Remey and Case.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, May 28th 2026 from 9:00 AM to 10:45 AM at the St. Joseph's Catholic Church (719 E Patten St, Boyd, WI 54726). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, May 28th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
