We announce the death of Grace M. Schmitt of Brandon, Wisconsin, who passed away on July 8, 2026, at the age of 89. She was predeceased by: her parents, Paul Sina and Isabell Sina (Reetz); her husband Floyd Schmitt; her daughters, Antoinette and Bernadette; and her siblings, Frank and Barbara.
She is survived by: her children, Thomas Schmitt (Sandra) of Brookfield, WI, Terri Teela (Dave) of Greenville, WI, David Schmitt of Chippewa Falls, WI, Michael Schmitt (Jodie) of Appleton, WI and John Schmitt (Molly) of Madison, WI; her grandchildren, Bradley Teela (Ciara), Brian Schmitt (Allison), Kevin Schmitt, Danielle Watson (Travis), Sydney, Sadie and Sophia Schmitt; and her sisters-in-law, Winifred Kwiecinski (Adam) and Helen Dietz. She is also survived by numerous nieces; nephews; and cousins.
