He is survived by: his wife Geraldine; his children, Terri (Brian), Brad Karls (Angela) and Jon Karls (Katie); his grandchildren, Mason Karls (Kelsey), Jenna Karls (Caleb), Ashley Harrison, Kourtney Karls (Wyatt), Joey Karls and Ben Karls; his sisters, Ludina Schmitz, Betty Mae Kraus and Shirley Jacques; and his brothers-in-law, Lloyd Klapperich, Gene Klapperich (Pat), Dave Klapperich (JoAnn) and Stan Klapperich (Rosie). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, other relatives and many special friends.
Visitation was held on Thursday, September 17th 2026 from 1:00 PM to 3:45 PM at the Our Lady of the Holyland Parish – St. Mary. A Mass of Christian burial was held on Thursday, September 17th 2026 at 4:00 PM at the same location.
