He was predeceased by: his parents, Olvin Skattebo and Sophia Skattebo (Halderson); his parents-in-law, Arthur and Lydia Riemer; his siblings, Helen Schanke (Elmer), Doris Gauger (Howard), Orrin Skattebo, Leon Skattebo (Audrey), Orley Skattebo (Marilyn) and Marie Skattebo; his brothers-in-law, Bill Dvoracheck, Richard Lefleur and Ed Labitzke; and his nieces and nephews, Linda, Susie, Jenny, Howie and Steve.
He is survived by: his wife Lyndoris Skattebo; his children, Dean Skattebo (Heather) of Sierra Vista, AZ, Dawn Cook (Nate) of St. Louis, MO and Amie Skattebo (Mike Schmierbach) of State College, PA; his grandchildren, Brandy Skattebo (Steve Copas), Kayann Smith and Gabe Smith; his stepgrandchildren, Anabelle Cook, Alexis Cook, Alivia Cook and Abigail Cook; his siblings, Glenn Skattebo (Bonnie) of Milwaukee and Lois Lafleur of Manitowoc; and his sisters-in-law, Marilyn Dvorachek and Elaine Labitzke. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
