It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Diane Shoemaker of Brodhead, Wisconsin, who passed away on August 24, 2025, at the age of 77, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As Diane departs from this earthly realm, her essence lingers — a whisper on the wind, a ripple on the water — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of life and death. Though Diane may no longer walk beside us, her spirit lives on in the memories and the legacy Diane leaves behind.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Dale Nelson and Jewell Nelson; and her brothers-in-law, Ralph Berger and Dennis Shoemaker. She is survived by: her husband Gary; her sons, Jeff Shoemaker (Pam) and Greg Shoemaker (Amanda); her grandchildren, Gerrad Shoemaker (Amy) and Paige Shoemaker; and her brother Bruce Nelson (Cheryl). She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
