He was predeceased by: his parents, George F. Sr. Goodsir and Virginia Goodsir (Barker); his brother Jim; his son Joel; and his great-nephew Hunter.
He is survived by: his wife Ann Parker of Watertown; his daughter Julie Williams (John); his sister Gail Liebig (Joe); his granddaughters, Jennifer Reible (Jake), Jaclyn Williams (Craig), Jordan Stevens (Mike) and Sara Goodsir (Julius); his great grandchildren, Audrey, Easton, Aubree, River, Camden, Zuri and Callahan; and his caregivers, Dr Cavey, Dr O'Halloran and Tyler.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, May 26th 2026 from 9:30 AM to 11:00 AM at the D. L. Newcomer Funeral Home (1105 E 9th Ave, Brodhead, WI 53520). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, May 26th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 11:45 AM at the same location.
Fred received commendation from the State of Wisconsin for his contributions to the State's Early Education for Employment and school to work Initiatives.
