He is survived by: his daughter Karen Porterfield of Brodhead, WI.; his siblings, Don Rudisill (Suzanne) of Lena, Dan Rudisill of Belvidere, Norma Heiden of Rockford and Judy LaFurge (Bob) of Davis; his grandchildren, Joel Porterfield (Katie), Chris Porterfield and Mathew Porterfield (Karrissa); and his great grandchildren, Ezra, Malachi, Sophie, Avery, Lennon and Rowan Porterfield.
Visitation will be held on Monday, September 28th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Burke Tubbs Funeral Home - Freeport (504 N Walnut Ave, Freeport, IL 61032).
