She was predeceased by: her parents, Mathew Verghese and Chinnamma Verghese; and her brothers, Cheriyan, Alex and V. J. Verghese.

She is survived by: her spouse Eappen; her son Danny Thomas (Jane); her grandchildren, Bond and Rêve; and her siblings, Mathew, Shaji, John, Mariamma and Beena. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
