It is with sadness that the passing of Catherine F. LaFond (Brookfield, Wisconsin) is shared. Catherine, born on January 3, 1942 in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, passed away on September 8, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Larry LaFond Jr.; her son Mark LaFond; her siblings, Richard, Russell J. Smith and Maureen O'Hearn; and her parents, Russell Smith and Catherine Smith.
She is survived by: her daughter Mary Beth Elberson (Tom); her daughter-in-law Meg Andree (John); and her grandchildren, Melissa LaFond, Matthew LaFond (Shannon), Kate Head-Elberson (Emily) and Finley Elberson (Christopher).
Visitation was held on Monday, September 14th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the St. Dominic Catholic Church (18255 W Capitol Dr, Brookfield, WI 53045). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Monday, September 14th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
