He was predeceased by: his wife Carol Stefanich; his parents, Albert Stefanich and Monica Stefanich; his brother Don Stefanich; his son James Troy Stefanich; and his close friend Jane Stefanich.

He is survived by: his siblings, Allen Stefanich, Greg Stefanich (Mary) and Mary Ann Brylow; his sons, Dale Stefanich and David C. Stefanich (Susan); and his pet Angel. He is also survived by grandchildren and great-grandchildren, nephews nieces and friends.
