He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Wolter and Gloria Wolter; his sister Debbie; and his siblings-in-law, Marjorie and Ormand Scholl.
He is survived by: his wife Becky Wolter (Scholl); his children, Trisha Houghton (Adam) and Tracy Holzhueter (Troy); his grandchildren, Tristyn, Sean, Teagan, Nolan, Tesla and Coleton; his siblings, James Wolter (Lisa), Peggy Juhl (Donald) and William Wolter (Cherie); and his siblings-in-law, Jennifer Brysacz and Terence Scholl (Suzanne).
In lieu of flowers, donations in his name to the Tunnel to Towers Foundation supporting families of fallen heroes, are appreciated.
