He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Meyer and Evelyn Meyer; his siblings, Brian Meyer and Marlaine (late Pat); and his nephew Steve Pietrzak.

He is survived by: his children, Laurie Fancher (Dave) and Douglas Meyer; his grandchildren, Ashley and DJ Fancher; his siblings, Rod Meyer (Mary) and Rhonda Dlapa (Gary); and his close friend Carol Meyer. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
