She was predeceased by: her husbands, Jim Bonness and Frank Tomsyck; her daughter Meg; her parents, Dr. Elmer Gramling and Lila Gramling; and her siblings, Ruth Gramling Weber, Helen Gramling Lauer and John Gramling (Patricia).

She is survived by: her daughters, Beth Bonness (Jeff McCaffrey), Mary Bonness Hansell, Ellen Baker (Scott), Amy Johnson (Jim) and Kathy Bonness; her grandchildren, Kalah (Justin Kincaid), Rachel (Kyle Rowe), Amanda McCaffrey, James (Caitlin Rugg), Elise, Anna Hansell, Eric, Bridget (Greg Sleasman), Diana, Christopher (Heloise Dubois), Sarah, John Baker, Rob, Kate and Ben Johnson; her great grandchildren, Winona Bonness Rowe, Brennan Hansell, Owen, Nora Sleasman and TJ Orzetti; and her caregivers, Congregational, Elmbrook Hospital and Froedtert Hospital. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and friends.
