He was predeceased by: his parents, Edwin Schaefer and Maxine Schaefer; his brother-in-law Clem Haberman; and his nephew Cody Trinko. He is survived by: his wife Kim Schaefer; his sister Sharon Haberman; his children, Ali May (Chris), Max Schaefer (Brittany), Ben Schaefer (Rachael), Sam Schaefer (Abby) and Tyler Schaefer (Gator); his son-in-law Gareth Trinko; and his grandchildren, Jany, Charlie, Cole, Maddie, Delanie, Devan, Jake, Luci, Dylan, Izzi, Abbi, Molly, Liam, Kora, Gwen and Callahan.
