He was predeceased by: his wife Erna; and his son-in-law Raymond Schommer. He is survived by: his children, Doris Schommer and Kurt Windbiel (Ruth); his grandchildren, Philip Schommer (Julie), Paul Schommer (Jillian), Pam Schommer, Kara Windbiel, Kirsten Windbiel and Peter Schommer; and his great grandchildren, Aubrey and Evelyn Schommer. He is also survived by other relatives and friends.
