She was predeceased by: her husband John M. Hickey, Sr.; her mother Irene Schmitt; her aunts, Mary McCann and Margaret Cook; her siblings, Mary Wittmann (Richard) and Thomas Schmitt (Marianne); and her brothers-in-law, Rev. Joseph Hickey and Rev. Thomas Hickey.
She is survived by: her children, Mary Bridget Zander (Michael), John Michael Hickey (Julie), Ann Schroeder (Michael), Thomas Hickey (Susan), Kerry Hodan (Patrick), Julie Hickey-Bennett (Dave) and David Hickey (Jane); her grandchildren, Carolyn, Sarah, Rachel Zander, Jack, Sean, Joseph Hickey, Catherine, Michael Schroeder, Tommy, Danny Hickey, Patrick, Bridget, Colleen Hodan, Peter, Moira, Maggie Brown, Julia, Clara and Molly Hickey; and her child Gerrie. She is also survived by 8 great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.
Visitation was held on Thursday, April 16th 2026 from 9:30 AM to 10:45 AM at the St. John Vianney Catholic Church (1755 N Calhoun Rd, Brookfield, WI 53045). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Thursday, April 16th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to St. Joan Antida High School.
