He was predeceased by: his parents, Veronica Rankin (Becher) and Ferdinand Rankin; and his parents-in-law, Edith (Summerfield) and Robert Hart. He is survived by: his wife Bonnie (Hart); his children, Peter, Lisa (O'Farrell) and Jamie (McAdam); his children-in-law, Kara (Klish), Joseph and Peter; his grandchildren, Allison O'Farrell, Maxwell Rankin, Kayla O'Farrell, Abigail Rankin, Maizie McAdam and Dylan McAdam; and his siblings, JoAnn Ebben (Francis), John Rankin (Francine) and Jerry Rankin (Mary). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and friends.
