It is with great sadness that we announce the death of James William Schwalbach (Brookfield, Wisconsin), who passed away on April 24, 2022, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parent Eternal Life; and his siblings, John Schwalbach and Elizabeth Skorupa. He is survived by: his wife Joan "Joy"; his children, Kristin Carpenter (Vinny), Karin Bednar (Eric), James Schwalbach (Dawn) and Steven Schwalbach; his granddaughters, Kathryn "Katie" Carpenter and Abigail "Abbie" Schwalbach; his brothers, Thomas (Mary), Daniel (Ceil) and William Schwalbach; and his siblings-in-law, Thomas Kloza and Jacqueline Sweeney (Bernard). He is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives, godchildren, and friends.

He volunteered for St. Vincent DePaul, church festivals, and various charity events.
