John J. Tanel Obituary
Of Brookfield, January 17, 2022, Age 60 years. Beloved husband of Annette (Nee Thiel). Loving father of Jay and Lance Tanel. Dear brother of Kathy (John) Painter, Mike (fiancee Kathy Terlizzi) and Jackie (Danny) Shaughnessy. Further survived by other relatives, nieces, nephews, his students and his church family.
A Memorial Service will be celebrated Saturday January 29, 2022 at 2pm at Brookside Baptist Church, 4470 Pilgrim Rd. Brookfield. The family will greet friends Saturday 12 Noon until time of the Service AT THE CHURCH. In lieu of flowers, memorials to Brookside Baptist Church or the family would be appreciated.
Jay graduated from Pius High School in 1980, received his BA from Lakeland College and his Masters from Marian College. He taught middle school for over 20 years in the WA-WM School System.
