He is survived by: his wife Mary; his children, Jeanne (Jerry Jelacic), Greg (Patricia), Margaret Hartzell (Ken), Michael (Lois) and David (Madeline); his grandchildren, Lucy (Mark Still), Rosemary Ricci, Isabel Viernes (Justin), Andrew Hartzell (Nora), Melissa Hartzell, Trevor Ricci (Paige Corazalla), Amber Ricci, Nina Ricci, Lewis, Maren, Adelia Hartzell and Juliette Viernes; Benedict, Josephine and Genevieve Still.
Visitation was held on Saturday, September 12th 2026 from 9:45 AM to 11:00 AM at the St. Dominic Catholic Parish (18255 W Capitol Dr, Brookfield, WI 53045). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Saturday, September 12th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, donations to Christ Child Society in honor of Mary, Heart of the Nation (where he watched Mass with Mary during her illness and after her passing), Ronald McDonald House, or St. Dominic Parish are appreciated (see contact information below).
