In loving memory of Joshua Wesley Rutter (Brookfield, Wisconsin), born in Detroit, Michigan, who departed this world on June 11, 2025 at the age of 26. In the vast expanse of eternity, Joshua Wesley shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid Joshua Wesley farewell, his loved ones carry with them the precious gift of his memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.
He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Thad Rutter III and Rebecca; his siblings, Micah and Joy; and his grandparents, Edwin, Judith Borke, Thad Rutter Jr. and Lynn Rutter. He was also cherished by aunts, uncles, and cousins, and hundreds of brothers and sisters.
A memorial service will be held on Sunday, July 27th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the Peace United Methodist Church (12860 W North Ave, Brookfield, WI 53005). A reception will be held on Sunday, July 27th 2025 at 4:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, the family encourages donations to any of the churches and camps that helped develop Joshua's faith so they can continue to demonstrate God's grace, kindness, and love.
