It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Marilyn R. Mahoney (Brookfield, Wisconsin), born in Chicago, Illinois, who passed away on April 24, 2020, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Robert Busch and Anna Busch; her children, Dennis Augustus (Melissa), Kathleen Marie Gill and Robert Emmett III; her children-in-law, Harry S. Gill and Denise M. O'Keefe; her grandchildren, Sarah, Emma (Phil), Olivia Ewing (Eric), Griffin, Liam Gill, Robert Emmett Mahoney IV (Hillary), Michael Donald Mahoney and Caitlin Grace Mahoney; her great grandchildren, Robert Emmett Mahoney V and Charles Finnegan Mahoney; her sister Elizabeth Anthony; her niece Mary Anne Kavanagh; and her close friend Warren Wind.

Marilyn's family will be planning and hosting a Celebration of Life once the current pandemic circumstances and public safety concerns have expired.

In lieu of flowers, the family would appreciate donations to the American Heart Association or the Brookfield Lutheran Church, Brookfield, WI.

“My mother was simply wiped off the family map. Marilyn had a sister who was 13 years older. Our families were close while I was growing up until shortly after I got married. Marilyn (my aunt) stopped talking to her sister (my beloved mother) and I never could find out why but their connection was severed. She attended my mother’s funeral, but I lost an aunt and more importantly, my 3 cousins.”
