He was predeceased by: his parents, Melvin Gohlke and Ardis Gohlke; his brothers-in-law, Gene Weinberger and Harry Umbach; his wife Rita; his son Steven Gottfried (Danielle Dal Santo); and his grandsons, Harrison Gottfried, Stuart Gottfried and Bennett Gottfried.
He is survived by: his siblings, Renee Weinberger, Todd Gohlke (Kathy) and Kim Holsted (Stephen); and his brother-in-law Karl Umbach (Charleen). He is also survived by nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, August 2nd 2025 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Church and Chapel Funeral Home-Brookfield (1875 N Calhoun Rd, Brookfield, WI 53005). A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, August 2nd 2025 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
