She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles Best and Louise Baumann; her stepfather Lester Baumann; her brothers, Joseph, Michael, John, David, Edward and Eugene; and her nephews, Andrew Merwin, John Best II and Cody Stetzel.
She is survived by: her sisters, Elizabeth Wargolet (Irv), Judy Hazard (Michael), Martha Wilcoxsin (Michael) and Trish Gibson (Kelly); her sisters-in-law, Ann Best, Judy Best and Susan Best; and her goddaughter Cathie Turk. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews and many great-nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers a memorial may be given in memory of Mary to the Wounded Warriors Project.
