Michael A. Lestina Obituary
It is with great sadness that the parents of Michael A. Lestina announce his passing on July 8, 2025. He was a friend to many, a familiar face in his community and a loving father, brother, son, nephew and many cousins. Mike had a very quick wit, was kind, generous, playful/serious, thoughtful…. in other words a magnificent human being! Some of Michael's many life celebrations….
His given name was Michael but he also answered to: Mike, Spike, Mikey, Stella, and Michapedia because he had an unbelievable amount of knowledge and facts in his head.
Michael loved riding his motorcycle, loved fast cars, and driving around on the winding country roads.
Michael loved spending time with his daughter, Jordan, especially helping her buy her first car.
He spent many hours playing basketball with his cousins in his family's home on Laak Lane in Dousman.
He loved his electronic equipment and would spend hours listening to music in his loft condo.
He loved most sports, especially basketball and football and his favorite team was the Pittsburgh Steelers.
He loved talking with friends at his favorite local bar and loved going to the Buck's game with longtime friend Nate.
He has fond memories of a family trip to Europe and also a trip to Africa.
He loved snuggling on the floor with his dad's dog, Gunner.
Michael will be greatly missed! A Celebration of Life will be held on Wednesday July 30, 2025 at St. Dominic's Catholic Church 18255 W. Capital Dr. Brookfield from 10 AM until 1 PM. The gathering will be held in the lower level of the church.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations to Lake Country Caring in Hartland, WI.
Some of it's magic and some of it's tragic but I had a good life all the way Jimmy Buffet.
