He is survived by: his wife Karan; his children, Kristin Burgess (Rob) and Steven Scherbel (Hayley); his grandchildren, Robert and Liliana Burgess; his mother-in-law Shirley Janiszewski (Arthur); his sister Kathy Levandoski (Jim); his siblings-in-law, Sharon Scherbel, Robert and David Janiszewski (Linda); his pet Thunder; and his caregiver Gina Sanfilippo. He is also survived by nephews, nieces, other relatives, friends, neighbors.
