With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Michael J. Kennedy (Brookfield, Wisconsin), born in Peoria, Illinois, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. As Michael departs from this earthly realm, his essence lingers — a whisper on the wind, a ripple on the water — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of life and death. Though Michael may no longer walk beside us, his spirit lives on in the memories and the legacy Michael leaves behind.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Bernard and Vivian; and his sisters, Bernadine and Phyllis. He is survived by: his wife Carol Kennedy; and his children, Patrick (Beth), Erin, Shawn (Abby) and Colleen (Charlie). He is also survived by seven grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, June 6th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:45 AM at the St. Luke Catholic Church (18000 W Greenfield Ave, Brookfield, WI 53045). A Mass will be held on Saturday, June 6th 2026 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
