“Dear Wang Family, I know words will not fill the void left by your sons departure but I hope to shed a light on your son and what his life meant to me. I met Phil during my first year and his second year of college at the University of Wisconsin. I hung out with your son countless times, often days at a time, and we shared some of my fondest memories at UW together. Phil made me feel at home when I was homesick and held me up when I was down. I mean it with all of my heart when I say that Phil was one of the nicest guys I have ever had the pleasure of knowing. I am incredibly torn to hear of his passing but if it is of any solace to you and your family just know that I am mourning with you. Phil was a special friend and you deserve to know that. I will keep you in my thoughts and will carry Phil's memory for as long as I shall live. Do not worry, the world will not be forgetting about Phil any time soon. My deepest condolences, Nico Fesser”

Although we never had the chance to meet your precious son; one of our children who was also at University of Wisconsin has told us how brilliant Phillip was.
