He was predeceased by: his parents, William Nell and Bernice Nell; his brothers, Bill and Bob; and his siblings-in-law, Al Ahrens, Keith Karpf, Arlene Ahrens and Diane Nell.
He is survived by: his wife Judy; his sons, Rick (Debra), Randy and Russ (Kelly); his grandchildren, Ryan (Cortney), Chris (Stesha), Natalie (Tim), Amanda (Jesse), Carlie (Jay), Brittany, Trisha (Mike) and Travis; his great grandchildren, Oliver, Tatum of Sawyer, EJ, Elias, Julian, Otto and Maverick; his siblings-in-law, Richard Ahrens, Dottie Karph and Nancy Nell; and his close friend Charlie Gieringer. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, July 31st 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:45 AM at the Krause Funeral Home (21600 W Capitol Dr, Brookfield, WI 53072). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, July 31st 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
