He is survived by: his children, David, Ellen, Joseph and Clare Porter; his grandchildren, Joseph of Lantana and Kaitlin of Houston, Texas; his daughter Claudia Neef (William Neef) of Kingwood, Texas; his granddaughter Ellen Chaney (Joseph Chaney); his great grandchildren, Myles and Molly of Kingwood, Texas; his granddaughter Sarah Kober (Zachary Kober); and his great grandchild Noah of Lafayette, Louisiana..
