Robert Eckert Obituary
Eckert, Robert "Bob" Went to be with the Lord on December 29, 2024 at the age of 84. Beloved husband of Judy for 52 years. Loving dad of John (Erin) and Rachel. Proud grandpa of Alyssa, Hayden, Ainsley, Brynne and Dean. Brother of Bernie (Cindy) Eckert. Uncle of Alaina, Elyse and others. Preceded in death by his parents Wilhem and Amalie Eckert.
Bob taught at several Lutheran schools throughout his career. He was a very handy and resourceful man that built several homes and later had a successful home improvement business, JR Builders LLC. He loved to help people, especially with construction projects. He loved to share the Gospel through his Gideon prison ministry and anyone else in need.
Visitation will be Friday January 3, 2025 at Brookfield Lutheran Church, 18500 W. Burleigh Rd. in Brookfield, from 11am until time of service at 12pm. Private burial at Pinelawn Memorial Park.
Memorials to the church or to the Alzheimer's Association would be greatly appreciated.
