He was predeceased by: his parents, Adolf Steininger and Marie Steininger; his former wife June Steininger (Nee Dittmer); and his siblings, Mary Ellen Janz and James "Jimmy" Steininger.
He is survived by: his wife Rochelle Steininger (Nee Boudreau); his children, Lynne Steininger, Laura Steininger, Richard Steininger (Kathleen) and Jeanne Kleve (Jason); his grandsons, Sam Steininger (Maria), Joseph Kleve and Matthew Kleve; and his daughter Rochelle.
