He was predeceased by: his daughter Joanie; and his sisters, June and Donna. He is survived by: his wife Jennie; his daughters, Alice Grafenstein (Gerd) and Mary Bursack; his grandchildren, Sarah (Brenten), Aaron (Katie), Taylor (Ashley) and Hayley; his great grandchildren, Kalina and Johan; and his sister-in-law Catherine. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends.
In lieu of flowers, memorials to Emmanuel Community United Methodist Church choir appreciated.
