He was predeceased by: his parents, Bertil Eckman and Marilyn Eckman. He is survived by: his wife Joanne (Nee Retzlaff); his son Ryan Eckman; his siblings, Timothy Eckman (Chris Boshaar), Todd Judicki (Carol), Terry Eckman (Tammy) and Tracey Geniesse (Greg); and his siblings' children, Amber (Josh), Alexis, Rosie, Andrew, Courtney (Zach) and Jessica (Ryan). He is also survived by other relatives and friends.
