It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Thomas Frederick Schmidt of Brookfield, Wisconsin, who passed away on August 6, 2025, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Fred Schmidt and Lenore Schmidt; and his siblings, Jean Doman, Charles, Richard and Robert.
He is survived by: his wife Mary; his sons, Andrew (Allison) and Peter Schmidt (Diana); his grandsons, Nathan, Kaleb, Joseph and Jacob; and his siblings, Carole Reiland of Waukesha and James Schmidt (Jackie) of St. Louis. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends.
Visitation will be held on Friday, August 22nd 2025 from 9:30 AM to 11:00 AM at the St. John Vianney Catholic Church (1755 N Calhoun Rd, Brookfield, WI 53005). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Friday, August 22nd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
