He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Lauren Coy; his parents, Jeffrey Coy and Rhonda Coy; his sibling Casey Coy; his grandparents, Larry "Joe", Carolyn McCarty, Lenora and Andrew Gordon Coy; his parents-in-law, Timothy and Therese Bower; and his siblings-in-law, Erik and Elyse Bower.
