It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Corella Lahr of Bruce, Wisconsin, who passed away on June 21, 2025, at the age of 95, leaving to mourn family and friends. As Corella departs from our midst, her spirit ascends to join the cosmic dance of stars, a shimmering constellation of memories that will forever grace the night sky of the hearts of those who loved Corella. Though Corella may no longer walk beside us, her legacy lives on — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of time and space.
She was predeceased by: her husband Duane; her parents, Roy Runyan and Ona Runyan (Allen); her siblings, Glenn, Allen, Darwin and Jackie; and her sister-in-law Wilma.
She is survived by: her sons, Richard Lahr (Nuray) of Belleville, IL, Steven Lahr (Karen) of Newport News, VA and Michael Lahr (Pamela) of Bruce, WI; and her sister Dixie Witt of Rancho Mirage, CA.. She is also survived by five grandchildren; three great-grandchildren and her youngest.
Visitation will be held on Monday, June 30th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Bruce Federated Church (730 N 2nd St, Bruce, WI 54819). A funeral service will be held on Monday, June 30th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
