He was predeceased by: his father Marvin Frodl; his son Samuel Frodl; his stepfather Phil Haasl; and his nephew Eric Virsnieks. He is survived by: his mother Lorraine Frodl-Haasl (Grassel) of Marshfield; his son Garrett (Sandra Pumper) of Wausau; and his siblings, Karen Kowieski (Rick) of Stevens Point, Jane Frodl of Marshfield, Carol Kellum (Jerry) of Kirksville, MO, Joe Frodl (Dawn) of Pewaukee and Karl Frodl (Kay) of Marshfield. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
