He was predeceased by: his mother Janet Gustafson; his grandparents, Edwin, Florence Gustafson, Gustav Lippig and Grace Redmond; his uncle LeRoy Lippig; and his cousin Brenda Volling.

He is survived by: his father Donald Gustafson; his daughter Kaylee Gustafson; his granddaughter Korielle Beard; his sisters, Donna Curtis (Rick), Erica Valker (Paul) and April Berryhill; and his girlfriend Karen Snyder. He is also survived by many other relatives and friends.
