It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jerome W. Hefty Sr. of Burlington, Wisconsin, who passed away on May 7, 2025, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Peter Hefty and Sophia Hefty (Mikula); his son Jerome W. Hefty, Jr. (J. W.); and his siblings, Robert Hefty (Florence), Gladys Cramer (Joseph), Warren Hefty (Hazel), Delores Hefty, Margie Schoenberg (Howard), Marilyn Ide (William), Donald Hefty (Judith), John Hefty, Peter Hefty (Nancy), Barbara Droge (Galen), Joyce Pellman (Wilfred), Sophia Phillips (George) and James Hefty (Janice).
He is survived by: his wife Jane Prott; his daughters, Sherry Brooks (Freddie) and Laurie Hefty; his grandchildren, Reba Erdman (Randy) and Fred Brooks (Mariah); his great grandchildren, Jolene Jane Erdman and Wheylen Erdman; and his brother-in-law Fred Prott. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews other relatives and friends.
